Overview

Ive worn many hats over the years as a software professional. The majority of my work profile has been in Data Teams working on Data Applications, APIs and machine learning models. These roles covered various domains, including Marketing, Fashion (Value Chain), Mobile Apps and Logistics. Here I was responsible for builing end to end data infrastructure pipelines, which included backend development, building dashboards, Machine Learning models, and for a short time building Product MVPs and Augmented Reality Games for Android. I have a fair understanding of the Software Development Life cycle. I built this website from scratch using nothing but html and CSS.

Principal AI Engineer - Independent Consultant

March 2024 - Present

• Developing full-stack generative AI applications using Node.js, React, and Python to support a variety of AI-based algorithms.

• Building AI infrastructure on custom hardware configurations for scalable model deployment.

• Built dashboards and visualizations to empower stakeholders with essential business related kpis and metrics. This included non-conventional visualization applications built in Python/Plotly Dash applications.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend components.

Analytics Engineer - Resonance Group of Companies

September 2022 - November 2023

• Deployed data pipelines from a variety of high volume data sources for efficient reporting and data analysis.

• Developed machine learning models to predict product defects and prescribe process changes by conducting root causes analyses.

• Built dashboards and visualizations to empower stakeholders with essential business related kpis and metrics. This included non-conventional visualization applications built in Python/Plotly Dash applications.

• I also worked on training and building applications running large language models fine tuned on a corpus of company specific documentations and text based converstaions.

Data Engineer - Penpath LLC

August 2021 - September 2022

• I engaged with the marketing team to build backend python applications that ingested data for Multi-Channel Attribution analysis. This included working with different cloud based infrastructure packages and modules.

• Built data models and analyses for marketing and financial data that significantly increased sales conversions and optimized marketing expenditures for clients.

• Built Data Visualisations and dashboards for reporting essential KPIs and metrics that help optimize the sales funnel and increase conversions.

Software Engineer - LetsCooee

June 2020 - July 2021

• Designed, developed and deployed end-to-end web and mobile applications in Flutter with their APIs using NodeJS, Mongoose and MongoDB. Developed and Integrated cloud powered Augmented reality applications inside mobile application based sdks.

This was a first of its kind project during the pandeming where going digital and having a virtual environment to play around in was really in trend. I started experimenting with complex Unity Android concepts like pulling 3D assets from the cloud using addressables on demand and several Augmented reality features to deliver live customized experiences to customers of our client businesses as marketing push notifications.

Data Engineer - DIGR LLC

October 2018 - June 2020

• This was my first job straight out of college. I started doing data file archiving for clients that had a huge unstructured data "mess" ranging from xml files on ftp servers to basically having a lot of "undocumented" data consisting of hard copy files and slip like invoices. My first task was to understand what was filed where and basically make entries from created files to archiving them in ftp servers in a drag and drop fashion.

• I started off using talend as I was well versed in Java and JDBC, connected to a snowflake backend where we helped our client (a logistics company) migrate to snowflake and aws as their new data infrastrucutre. This included creating automated jobs that pulled data from a lot of sources , processed them in different talend components and pushed the results to a well designed snowflake data infrastructure designed based on the logical structure of the company.
